Thomas Edward LeBow, Jr, “Eddie”, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024.
Eddie was born on November 6, 1934, as his mother Martha went into labor traversing the old La Bajada road
from Santa Fe to Albuquerque. He attended Santa Fe High School graduating in 1953. Eddie
worked at his parents - Tommie and Martha LeBow - Chevron Gas Station located across from
the La Fonda Hotel on the corner of Water & Grant Streets. Deciding to become an electrician,
he went to work for his father-in-law, Orville Jones, at Modern Electric Company. With
experience under his belt, Eddie worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory until he opened
his own electrical company - LeBow Electric - in 1975. Eddie was a very active outdoorsman
enjoying fishing, hunting, and camping with his family. Once retired, he became a skilled
craftsman in woodwork turning bowls and building furniture. While Eddie possessed many
talents, his greatest achievement was being a devoted husband and father. He is survived by
his high school sweetheart of 71 years, Betty Sue (Jones) LeBow; daughters Kathleen Sue
Spradley, Vicki Jean LeBow, Patricia Ann LeBow; son Edward Alan LeBow; grandchildren Brian
and Aaron Bruton, Kyle Odom, Ashley Scott, Christopher and Amanda Cartwright, Janelle and
Marshall Spradley, Emma and Dylan LeBow; and 10 great grandchildren. A private service for
family only will be held.
