surrounded by family on October 19, 2023.
Predeceased by her husband Bennie V. Martinez, Sr.; grandchildren Matthew Martinez and Tomas Gomez; great-grandson Caden Martinez; parents Margarito and Manuelita Lobato; and sister, Julia Ulibarri.

Stella was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, attended St. Francis Catholic School, Mid-High School, and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1945. She was proud to let everyone know she was a cheerleader for Santa Fe High School, always saying, “Yea, Demons!” or “Go team go!” making us all laugh and smile.
She retired from the State of NM Public Education Department and enjoyed many years of retirement. She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, loved gardening, dancing, singing, whistling, and playing her piano.
All whom loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace, and beautiful smile.
