Nicholas Paul Boger, 45, passed away unexpectedly in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on October 25th, 2023.
Nick is survived by his father and step-mother, John Paul and Linda Boger of Phoenix, AZ; his sister Sarah Boger of Littleton, CO; his half-siblings, Sean Odle of Reno, NV; and Kelly (née Odle) Snyder of Phoenix, AZ; step-siblings, Colleen Tyser of Newnan, GA, and Micheal Carson of Colorado Springs, CO; his aunt Barbara “Bo” Boger of Aurora, CO; and many cousins, friends, and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pat Hoyle; and his grandparents, John and Mae Boger, and Robert and Genevieve Hoyle.
Nick was born in Littleton, CO, on September 5, 1978. He was a proud Ram, having graduated from Colorado State University in 2002. While there, he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and studied engineering.
He often talked about his days in “Fort Fun”, rafting the Poudre River. Nick never met anyone he didn’t call a friend, and into adulthood, he enjoyed skiing, hiking, and travel. Nick was also a long time fan of the Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets and Avalanche (not necessarily in that order).
He made his friends and family feel special by calling them to catch up while on his drives, thinking they were the only ones he called from the road. Nick had a special way of connecting with people. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, at University Church of Christ, 2000 S Milwaukee St. Denver CO. A gathering to celebrate Nick’s life with family and friends will immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nick’s memory to Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
