Isaiah "Zay" Santiago Gonzales passed away unexpectedly at the tender age of 8 on July 29, 2024. He was born to Marcelina Romero and Darren Gonzales on January 19, 2016, and was the epitome of love. He was the most loving, outgoing, kindhearted, extraordinary little boy.
The impact he made amongst those who knew him was one that could not be measured. He touched the lives and hearts of many whom met him personally or perhaps only knew of him. He was smart, charming, funny, and his amazing personality shined through in ways we could've never imagined, whether it was a light-hearted conversation, a smile, a laugh, a donut, or a hug.
He was his Mommy's baby and his Daddy's best friend.
He exuded friendship and goodwill and leaves behind a legacy of laughter, happiness, and love.
He loved Fortnite, video games, his xbox, pokemon, playing his meta quest, roblox, mine craft, legos, fingerboards, and he loved art.
Isaiah is survived by his Mommy Marcelina Romero, Daddy Darren Gonzales, Grandparents, Nana Laura Romero, Grandpa Jose Melendez (his Waldo), Grandma Diana Mejia and Grandpa Stacy Saiz (Dude), Grandpa Roy and Grandma Dre Gonzales, Lynette Salazar, Great Grandparents Paul Romero, Juan and Martha Mejia, Gloria and James Padilla, Roy Gonzales Sr., Aunts and Uncles, David (Uncle Noodlez), Danny and Eric Romero, Angela Romero, (Auntie) Anjoli Griego (A'ishah), (Uncle JJ) Jonathan Mejia, John Mejia, Amber Prada, Sandra Mejia-Carter, Joe (Renee) Mejia, John (Pam) Mejia, Heather and Daniel Archuleta, Christine (Jose) Martinez, Kevin Gonzales, Derek (Leslie) Padilla, Shyanne and Savannah (Justin) Saiz, Joaquin Garcia, cousins, Allie and Chris Romero, Janelle, Janae, Mariah, Amiyah Mejia, Avianna and Aubree Rose Archuleta, Grace Gonzales, Anthony, Jeremy, Joshua, Matthew, Jenna (Josh) Brunk, Joseph, Avery, Leo, Jonah, Ava, Jeremiah, his "bestest friend" Elijah Lopez, his Salazar Elementary family and many more Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends who loved him immensely.
