October 27, 1951 - December 25, 2024
Clarence Bustamante, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 25, 2024. Born on October 27, 1951, Clarence lived a life full of dedication, hard work, and love for his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benito and Paula, brother Gilbert.
Clarence served his country when he joined the National Guard in 1971 as a small arms technician. After his honorable discharge, he worked for ACME Cigarette Services for several years before returning to the life he loved most—the life of a rancher. Along with his father, he spent much of his days in the mountains, embracing the simple joys of ranching, hunting, fishing, woodworking and being at one with nature.
Clarence’s love for his family, the land, and the outdoors defined who he was. He was a man who worked with his hands, who loved with an open heart, and who found peace in the quiet moments of life.Clarence is survived by his children: Eddie (Tina), Ivy Sanchez (Tony), Monica, and Clarence Jr., along with numerous cherished grandchildren who he held dear to his heart. He leaves behind his family, and friends who will remember him for his wisdom, generosity, and the love he gave so freely.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family and the many lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
