Carol Medina

Carol Ontiveros Medina, aged 65, of Santa Fe, peacefully joined the Lord on September 14, 2023. She was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on October 29, 1957, to her beloved parents, the late Rita and Ernesto Ontiveros.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Marcus Medina, and their three loving children and wives: Joshua (Vanessa) Medina, Jeremy (Elise) Medina, and Justin (Ashley) Medina. Carol leaves behind a cherished legacy of six grandchildren: Madison, Olivia, Jaxon, Mateo, Xander, and Isabel Medina.

Carol is also lovingly remembered by her siblings and in-laws, Alice (Eddie) Sanchez, Mary (David) Intanfe, and her brother, Ernesto (Anna) Ontiveros, as well as her father-in-law, Carlos Medina.

In Heaven, Carol reunites with her parents and brothers, Rudy and Mike Ontiveros, and her mother-in-law, Aurora Medina.

A graduate of Las Cruces High School, she met her soulmate, Marcus, during her college years. They married in June of, 1978 and settled in Marcus's hometown of Santa Fe, where Carol dedicated over 40 years of her life to her career at State Farm Insurance, retiring only recently.

Carol's greatest joys were her cherished grandchildren and quality time with her family. She loved vacationing and the occasional visit to the casino while Marcus bowled. 

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and she will never be forgotten.
