Adelita "Ade" Marie Valencia

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adelita “Ade” Marie Valencia, 44, of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Adelita was a cherished mother, sister, aunt, and friend, who was called home too soon by our heavenly Father on December 26, 2024. Adelita entered into eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness.

Born on December 30th, 1979 to Geraldine Robinson and Daniel Valencia Sr., and raised by her grandparents Adelina and Pablo Ortega in Santa Fe, New Mexico alongside her two brothers Daniel Jr. and Issacc Valencia. 

To anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Adelita got to experience the boundless compassion and generosity of her heart of Gold. Adelita always made every place she was in feel like home welcoming everyone with hugs, kisses and always some kind of crazy joke! We will all remember her especially for her stunning smile and her contagious laugh that you could never forget. 

Adelita was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pablo and Adelina Ortega; Parents Geraldine Robinson and Daniel Valencia Sr.; and her youngest brother Isaac E. Valencia.

She is survived by her eldest son Nicholas Joseph (his fiancé Miquella), youngest son Joshua Leroy; Her eldest brother Daniel Valencia Jr.; Nieces Annabelle and Serenity Valencia; Great Niece Alaiyah Valencia (her “Lols ”); Nephew’s Santiago Valencia and Brandon Gomez-Valencia; and her numerous family and friends. 

We also wanted to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who supported our mother and our family in this tragic time of need. 

Adelita will be tremendously missed and will forever live on through her family and especially through her two amazing boys who cherished her and loved her deeply. Her memory will forever live on, Rest in Paradise our beautiful Angel, Taken way too soon but never forgotten.
